Bible For Life
The goal of our BFL is to rightly interpret and apply God’s word to our lives. Our purpose is that, over five years of faithful attendance, an FBC church member will be thoroughly equipped to obey Christ in every area of life.
Purpose of BFL Tracks
Just before He ascended into heaven, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, commissioned the church to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). A disciple is a learner, one who follows a master and drinks in from him everything he can teach. Therefore, at the core of the Great Commission is the command to teach these disciples to obey everything Christ had commanded them. This is a comprehensive work of Christian education and accountability, a task that is as exhilarating as it is daunting. Only by the Spirit of Christ can any church be faithful to teach everything the Lord wants us to teach.
Therefore, the elders at FBC are introducing a whole new approach to our Sunday morning discipleship. Our Bible for Life classes have been organized into five major tracks, and those major
tracks have been subdivided into key areas that will help us to apply the richness of God’s Word to all areas of our lives—both in thought and in deed.
With great excitement and anticipation, we invite you to come and learn in a whole new way at FBC! Look over the entire plan and prayerfully plot out your own strategy for growing in Christ through
