SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE EVENT
4000Steps is a fun, stroller-friendly, dog-friendly, and family-friendly event that raises support for women and their families who are dealing with an unplanned pregnancy across the triangle. The annual 4000Steps walk event will be hosted on Saturday, April 29 at Open Door Church, and it serves to disciple and educate participants about the realities surrounding the cause for LIFE. Join a team by contacting one of our four team leaders: Margo Bowen, Anna Johnsen, Philip McDuffie, and Richard Mounce. Hope you can join us as we seek to change the perceived need for abortion in our community.
SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY – THE DOCTRINE OF GOD (May 3 to Jun 14)
Systematic Theology is a careful study of what the Bible teaches about various topics. In this session we will consider God. Do you ever question how do we know that God exists; can we really know God; how much of God can we know; how is God different from us; if God controls all things, how can our actions have real meanings? Come delve into these questions and more in this study. We’ll meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm in room 342.
WOMEN’S MAY FELLOWSHIP GATHERING
All ladies are invited to gather together on Thursday, May 4 from 7:00-9:00pm in Morgan Hall. We will enjoy a dessert fellowship followed by a meditation on Philippians 4 from Missy Fox. This is the final session in our four-part series studying the book of Philippians together. Please CLICK HERE sign up and bring a dessert to share. Contact Margo Bowen with any questions.

MEMBERS’ MEETING – MAY 10
We look forward to all FBC members attending our upcoming Members’ Meeting on Wednesday, May 10! The meeting will be held in the Sanctuary beginning at 6:30pm. There are no children’s activities on May 10, but childcare will be provided during the meeting for ages 4 and under.
Our Parent-Child Dedication will be on Mother’s Day, May 14, during the morning worship service. This is an opportunity for parents to publicly “set apart” their child to the Lord (1 Samuel 1:11, Luke 2:21-22), and to commit to raise him/her up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). If you would like to participate, please contact Kristen Snyder at email@example.com by Sunday, May 7.

This has been a fruitful ministry over the years and we desire for it to continue. We need 2-3 volunteers who can commit to bringing snacks, teaching, or volunteering for two hours on a weekly basis. If you are interested in being involved in anyway, please contact Andy Winn for more information. Thank you.
