ANNIE ARMSTRONG EASTER OFFERING

HEALTH FAIR APRIL 1
Join FBC and the surrounding community for our Health Fair next week, April 1 from 9:00am -12:00noon. We look forward to serving the community through providing basic medical care and building relationships with the community. WOMEN’S RETREAT – SIGN UP TODAY
The ladies of FBC are invited for a time of teaching, rest, and fellowship during our Spring retreat, April 21-22, at Caraway Conference Center (1.5 hours west of Durham). INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY PRAYER MEETINGS
On the first Sunday of each month, the International Connections team meets immediately after the worship service to pray for international ministry in Durham and the greater RDU area. We spend time praying for individuals, Gospel opportunities, outreach and church planting efforts, and the ministry as a whole. If you’re interested in joining us, you’re invited to come! BAPTIST CHILDREN’S HOME FOOD ROUND UP
The senior adults of FBC invite the church body to participate with them in a Food Roundup for the Baptist Children’s Home. Boxes for donations are located in the North Tower, and at the South Door. Lists of suggested donations are with the boxes. Deadline for donating is Sunday, April 9. For further information, contact Roger or Becky Manuel. Thank you for helping us support this very vital ministry.
SENIOR ADULT LUNCH
Senior adults please join us on Tuesday, March 28 at 11:30am in Morgan Hall for a delicious catered lunch from Kelsey’s Café as special guest Dr. Patrick Fuller shares about the ministry of the Baptist Children’s Home. We will also enjoy a medley of gospel songs from the FBC Quartet as we end our time together. Cost of lunch is $7.00 per person. You must RSVP to the church office at 919-688-7308, ext. 33 by 5:00pm, Friday, March 24th. SPECIAL REQUEST: We will be collecting needed items for the Baptist Children’s Home. MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION SERVICE
This year’s Maundy Thursday service begins at 6:00pm on April 13 in the Sanctuary. We will listen to the scriptural accounts of the final days of Jesus, sing together, and then celebrate the Lord’s Supper. Childcare will be provided for ages 4 and under.
SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE EVENT
4000Steps is a fun, stroller-friendly, dog-friendly, and family-friendly event that raises support for women and their families who are dealing with an unplanned pregnancy across the triangle. The annual 4000Steps walk event will be hosted on Saturday, April 29 at Open Door Church, and it serves to disciple and educate participants about the realities surrounding the cause for LIFE. Join a team by contacting one of our four team leaders: Margo Bowen, Anna Johnsen, Philip McDuffie, and Richard Mounce. Hope you can join us as we seek to change the perceived need for abortion in our community.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – WORKERS NEEDED
