LORD’S SUPPER THIS SUNDAY
Church family, be sure to prepare for the Lord’s Supper this Sunday, February 19. Full provision is made for any who genuinely repent of sin and trust in Christ! At the end of the service we will be collecting a benevolence offering, so prayerfully consider bringing a special gift for that purpose.
WHAT IS THE BENEVOLENCE FUND?
The Benevolence Fund was established as a way to address specific needs in the body and in the community on a case-by-case basis. It enables the pastors and deacons to give financial support to church members facing difficult times and to individuals from the community whose needs become known to the church. This fund is built up through collections given as members leave the service on the Sunday mornings we celebrate Lord’s Supper. One may also designate gifts to the Deacon Benevolence Fund at any time by marking the contribution accordingly.
During February, the Caring Center is having a children’s clothing sale. FILL A BAG FOR $1.00!! We are gratefully overwhelmed with children’s clothing, so please spread the word to friends and family members. The store hours are Friday and Saturday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm. Also, we are still looking for volunteers to fill openings on our 1st Friday and 2nd Saturday teams. Please contact Kelly Pendergraft at email@example.com, if you are interested.
