Slavery to Scones Tea

Saturday, March 21, 2015 – 10:30am – Room 352

What does slavery have to do with scones and tea?  Slavery to Scones is a ministry that uses a bakery as a means of providing funds for a safe house and employment for financially and sexually exploited women – over 35,000 of which exist in this one city alone!  Come hear members from our FBCD missions team share how God is using this ministry to spread the gospel and provide hope to these women.   We will be taking up a love offering to support some urgent financial needs of this ministry. Sign up online at www.fbcdurham.org or by calling the church office 919-688-7308, ext. 33.

“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.’ Colossians 1:13-14

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.  Hebrews 10:24-25
