Teachers:  Andy Davis / Joshua Breland, Terry Iles, Wes McKay, and Richard Mounce

This summer we will be studying the book of 1 Peter. We will be encouraged to trust the Lord through trials and persecution, challenged to live lives holy and pleasing to Christ, equipped to give a reason for the hope we have in Christ, instructed on the importance and responsibility of godly leadership in the local church, and much more. Questions such as, “How are Christians to live in a world increasingly hostile to the Gospel?”, “What does it mean for us to be a new creation in Christ?”, and “Why should we believe the Bible?” will be addressed this summer. This study examines why Christians suffer and how to persevere through various trials. The format will remain as it’s been—a guided, open discussion of chapter after chapter in which all are free to participate. We will have the privilege of hearing God’s word taught by Andy Davis as well as several young men that are training for the gospel ministry. Please join us as we study the 1 Peter and grow in the grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ!
