Music Opportunities
Each of our music ensembles serves weekly to prepare and lead others in worship. Read below for descriptions.

Worship Choir
- Mass vocal ensemble for Sunday morning worship and special presentations.
- Choir members should be members of First Baptist Church or in the process of pursuing membership. They should exhibit the life of a true worshiper of the Father (John 4; Romans 12).
- Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:35pm in the Music Suite on the Second Floor.

Children's Choirs
- Half Notes (pre-school), Svetlana Thorne, Director
- Young Musicians (grades 1-5), Debbie Rook, Director
- Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:00-6:45pm in the Children's Hall on the Ground Floor.
Worship Orchestra
- Mass instrumental ensemble for Sunday morning worship and special presentations.
- We utilize a variety of instrumentation, including (1) piano and organ, (2) bass, drums and guitars, and (3) standard orchestral instruments, including woodwinds, brass, strings, and percussion.
- Orchestra members should be members of First Baptist Church or in the process of pursuing membership.
- They should exhibit the life of a true worshiper of the Father (John 4; Romans 12).
- Rehearsals: Wednesdays at 7:35pm in the Sanctuary.
- Worship Orchestra rehearsals are directed by Bill Austin.

Handbell Choirs
- There are two handbell choirs: one for youth and one for adults.
- Youth Handbells meets on Wednesdays at 5:30pm in Room 244.

- Adult Handbells meets on Wednesdays at 6:30pm also in Room 244.
- Susan Browning directs both choirs.
Solos and Ensembles
- We also encourage the usage of a variety of vocal and instrumental solos and ensembles.
- Ensembles are formed ad hoc, by invitation only.
- Solos are also by invitation only, but those with personal interest or suggestions may contact Eric Campbell.
