Our Deacons
The qualification for the office of deacon is described in 1 Timothy 3: 8-13. The church recognizes, in accordance with the provisions of elections, members (men or women) who are giving of themselves in service to the church, and who possess particular gifts of service. These members are received as gifts of Christ to His church and set apart as deacons. A deacon serves for one term lasting a maximum of three years and may serve for another term only after a one year absence. The deacons perform duties assigned by the elders.
