FBC Durham, Journeying with Christ

First Baptist is pursuing an initiative to plant a new church in south Durham, around the Southpoint area.  The first step toward this end will be this satellite Bible For Life class.  The reason for the early BFL start time is to allow time for everyone to commute from the BFL class to the morning worship service at FBC Durham.  Regarding the class itself...Jesus is the gospel.  What does this simple statement mean?  This class will explore the full weight and range of this statement through a careful  study of the book of Colossians.  Members of FBC will meet in an off campus location from FBC.  This study will intentionally seek to bring in local residents who will be introduced to the person and work of Jesus. Members of FBC should grow in their appreciation of the gospel both in their life and in the lives of others.  The hope is that as we look at what the Bible teaches about the gospel we will see it grow and bear fruit in our own live and among the lost.
