The Glory of Christ and the Health of His Church (Revelation 1-5)
In the first five chapters of Revelation, we have an awesome and unforgettable picture of the glorified Christ-resurrected and walking through seven golden lampstands; exalted and seated on the throne of God surrounded by heavenly worship. We also have Christ's clear messages to seven local churches, a timeless insight into what Christ thinks of His church. In these five chapters, we will be led to consider the greatness of the risen Christ and the attributes of a healthy local church. Please join us and have your heart strengthened by the Word of God, prayer, and fellowship.

Group Two - Hosts Andy & Elisa Winn- The Gospel According to Mark
Herbert Rivera & Andy Winn
The Gospel According to Mark
The Gospel of Mark is a vivid, action packed, riveting account of the life of Jesus. This HF will study the Gospel of Mark to better understand the life and ministry of Jesus, and to also learn how we can use this Gospel to teach others about Jesus. Mark is an excellent Gospel to use when talking to a co-worker, neighbor, classmate, family member, or friend about who Jesus was, why He came, and what it means to follow Him. We look forward to enjoying fellowship, praying for one another, studying the Gospel, and discussing how we use this Gospel to advance the name of Christ.

Group Three - Hosts Mark & Shelia Carpenter - The Gospel According to Luke
Tim Pyrant & Kevin Schaub
The Gospel of the Savior for All People
Luke's Gospel presents a continuous theme-the arrival of God's salvation and the fulfillment of His promises, available now to all people everywhere. It also presents the life of Jesus in close quarters. For example, in the Zacchaeus episode, a chief tax collector responds to Jesus' personal message of God's love for the lost. Luke also captures the mission of the Savior in a dramatic travel narrative that lasts 10 chapters in which Jesus resolutely sets out for Jerusalem to be killed on a cross in order to accomplish our salvation. Luke calls on us to walk with Jesus in this book. Come study Luke with us, as we seek to know Jesus better and to see how we are called to join His mission-the mission to make Him known as the Savior for all people.

Group Five - Hosts Jim & Susan Eaker- Sermon Application Review
Paul Campbell
Based on Sunday morning's sermon, we will seek to review and apply the Biblical teachings from the sermon to our present individual lives. Basically, we will discuss:
1) What does God want me to know?
2) What does God want me to believe?
3) What does God want me to do?
As a byproduct of the discussion, we hope to learn from each other and to be encouraged in our journey of obedience to Christ. As Oswald Chambers said, "One step toward obedience is worth years of study about it."

All Christians can find instruction, wisdom, and encouragement for their own lives in this letter. You're welcome to join us as we study 2 Timothy. May we "fan into flame the gifts" from God and find encouragement to persevere.

Group Eight - Hosts John & Ashley Perry -Paul's First Letter to the Corinthians
Eric Campbell
To Those Sanctified in Christ Jesus
According to John Calvin, Paul's first letter to the Corinthians is "no less difficult than valuable." While the epistle presents its own share of interpretive challenges, perhaps no other biblical book presents such a practical knowledge of God and His grace, the lordship of Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit. It covers many topics of interest to modern day Christians, such as leadership, teaching, pluralism, sexuality, and worship.
Most importantly, the book seeks to answer how the death and resurrection of Jesus, as emphasized in chapters 1-15, teaches us how to live. Come study the book of 1 Corinthians with us as we mine some of the challenging topics and treasures of this often overlooked epistle!

Group Nine - Hosts Greg & Missy Fox - Paul's Letter to the Philippians
Eric Wills
Have This Mind Among Yourselves
Paul's letter to the Philippians has many familiar verses: "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you," "to live is Christ and to die is gain," the Christ hymn in chapter two, "do all things without grumbling or questioning," "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me" all come to mind. In this year-long study, we will examine these passages and more, with an emphasis on transforming our lives to be more like Christ and to live for His glory, not our own. Furthermore, we will seek to use this study as an impetus to memorize the entire book of Philippians using the "Partnering to Remember" method.

Join us as we study Paul's first letter to the Thessalonians, which addresses these issues, seeking to enlighten our minds, lift our hearts, and more faithfully imitate the Lord.

Group Eleven - Hosts Ryan & Kimberly Hutchinson - Paul's Letter to the Philippians
Michael Travers
The Book of Philippians
How many times during the day do you think of the needs of other people? If you are like most, it only happens when a need is presented to you. However, in Philippians we see that Jesus, the creator and sustainer of all things, sought others as more important than Himself. How can we learn to become selfless like Christ? Walk through Philippians with us to see how Christ, Paul, Epaphroditus, and the Philippian church can instruct us on seeking the benefit of others and the accompanying joy that will benefit us.
