2019 YEAR-END GIVING
All 2019 contributions to FBC must be dated and postmarked by December 31, 2019 to count towards your 2019 contributions. Gifts placed in the offering plate or mailed after that date will be credited for 2020 (no matter the check date). As a reminder, you can contribute to the Budget, Lottie Moon, and other funds like More Than a Building by writing a check to FBC Durham with the fund name in the memo line. You can also contribute to all of these funds online at https://onrealm.org/fbcdurham/Give.
LOTTIE MOON CHRISTMAS OFFERING
The International Mission Board is currently conducting its Christmas emphasis for the Lottie Moon Offering. Every dollar that is given to the Lottie Moon Offering goes directly to support IMB missionaries. FBC currently has five family units serving overseas with the IMB and they depend greatly on this annual offering. FBC Durham’s goal is $150,000. Visit the website: www.imb.org and begin to pray about how God will lead you to give this year. To contribute to this fund, make your check payable to “First Baptist Church” and write “Lottie Moon Missions” in the memo line. You can also give through Realm online at tinyurl.com/GiveLottieMoon.
WOMEN’S MORNING BIBLE STUDY IN SOUTH WEST DURHAM

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Please mark your 2020 calendars for Vacation Bible School on June 22-26 ! Also, please begin to pray about how you might be involved in this important ministry. There are many areas of service to choose from including teaching, snacks, decorating, music, recreation, transportation, and more! More information will follow in the coming months, but if you have questions now, please contact Susan Fisher at email@example.com. Pray as well that God would bring to your mind children to invite and bring to VBS!
USE YOUR GIFTS AT FBC!
As we enjoy teaching from 1 Corinthians focused on spiritual gifts, the elders and staff are eager to connect you with ministries in the church in which you can use the gifts God has entrusted to you. As you hear the sermons and member testimonies over the next few weeks, prayerfully consider what interests you have and please share them (along with any questions) with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the church office. Doing this does not automatically sign you up for service, but it will allow us to connect you with ministry leaders to learn more about ways you can serve!
HAVE YOU JOINED FIRST DURHAM CONNECTION (REALM)?
First Durham Connection (Realm) is our online interface which helps members easily communicate with one another. It has an easy-to-use online membership directory, allows online giving, communication with your Home Fellowship group, BFL class, ministry teams, and more! To join, please contact the church office and an email invitation will be sent to you (please check your Junk/Spam folders for an email from email@example.com).
FBC membership directories are available in the church office.
