Much of the direction that we have for understanding doctrine and life in the New Testament comes through Paul’s letters to the churches and his Pastoral letters. In the second half of our survey of the New Testament, we will continue to look at Paul’s letters. Also, we will look at the remaining letters of the New Testament that address life on a very personal level as well as life together in the church. The class will close with a look at the revelation of Jesus Christ and the visible establishment of Christ’s eternal Kingdom.
In this class, we will learn about:
- Paul’s instruction to the leaders and servants of the Body of Christ
- The supremacy of Christ over everything including the Old Covenant
- The danger of false doctrine
- The second coming of Christ when He is revealed to all as the only King worthy of worship
