The Caring Center is a low-cost thrift store created to serve the community. Items available include clothing, household items, toys, and more.
The Caring Center was established in 1980 to provide opportunities to display and declare the love of Jesus Christ in word and deed, and to provide donated clothes and other small household items to the Durham community at a very low cost.
All proceeds go to the ministries of FBC Durham.

You're invited to come by during operational hours to take a look at what we have available! Everyone is welcome to come shop, including members of FBC!

Location: The Caring Center is located is located on the lower level at the back of the church, on the side facing Roxboro Street. Click below for directions to our location.
Donate to the Caring Center
Monday - Friday • 7:00am - 2:00pm
Gently used clothing and other small household items are accepted from anyone desiring to contribute.
A metal drop-off bin is located next to the Caring Center entrance.
Serve at the Caring Center
Fridays and Saturdays • 10:00am - 12:00pm
Interested in volunteering at the Caring Center?
Assist in working a 2-hour shift on a Friday or Saturday once a month during hours of operation. You will have the opportunity to meet, serve, and witness to people from around the community!
