Our Youth Ministry seeks to teach and model the gospel of Jesus Christ to 6th-12th grade students at FBC through Bible studies, discipleship, and fellowship.
We also desire to partner with parents in equipping youth for Christian maturity for the glory of Christ.

Youth Bible for Life
Sunday 9:15-10:15am
Room 320
Youth BFL is our Sunday morning small groups Bible study. We have a team of teachers for these classes, who dedicate their time toward personal study and prayer with the goal of teaching God’s Word to their classes on a weekly basis, firming up each student’s foundational understanding of the Christian faith.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
Room 320
This is our big, weekly gathering. We spend time hanging out before and after Bible study, so it’s a good time for students to connect. During the Bible study hour, we pray together, the youth worship team leads us in praise songs, and we teach students through a book of the Bible, helping them learn how they can study the Bible on their own along the way. Our goal on Wednesday Nights is to give students a grand vision for the greatness of God in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Interested in Serving?
Our ministry to students makes for a great opportunity for the members of FBC to serve and use their gifts. From serving in teaching roles, to being small group leaders or helpers at events, to one-on-one or small group discipleship meetings, there are many ways you can serve the students in the Youth Ministry.

Baptism & Church Membership for Students
At First Baptist Church, it is our desire to see youth place their faith in Jesus Christ and walk in obedience to his commands from the very start of the Christian life. As a part of our desire to see youth faithfully living out their commitment to Christ, we have a goal to teach and prepare youth for taking steps toward publicly sharing their faith in Christ through baptism, gladly partaking of the Lord’s Supper, and joining in covenant fellowship with the members of this church.
